2008 Rocky Mountain Balloon Festival at Chatfield in Littleton, Colorado

If you are looking for something fun and unique to do this weekend, then the Rocky Mountain Balloon festival is for you. It is especially fun for families with little kids! They love to see huge versions of the mylar balloons they gawk at in the grocery store lines flying up high in the air. If the morning times are too early for you to get up then don't worry the night time viewing is even better. The balloons look absolutely beautiful illuminated in the sky. Come to Chatfield for the 9th annual Rocky Mountain Balloon Festival.
Live music, car show, and other activities and vendors all day. A mass ascension flight scheduled 6:30-8:00 am. Lites in the Nite illumination from 7:15-8:30 pm. This program is free with a Colorado State Parks pass. A Chatfield day pass is $7.00. See website below for more information.
